Terms of Service

The rights and disclaimers for using our services.

Last updated: August 10, 2026

Who We Are

AaoSeekheinUrdu (aaoseekheinurdu.com) is a small, independent children's book brand founded by Hira Qazi, based in Maryland, USA. These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with us.

Our Products

We sell physical, printed board books for young children: Let's Learn Alif Bay Pay and My First Urdu Rhymes, sold individually or as a Complete Set. Product photos, descriptions, and page counts are as accurate as we can make them, but small variations between batches (color, binding, minor print details) can happen with any printed product.

These Terms of Service, together with any policies referenced throughout, describe your rights and responsibilities when you use our services or purchase our products. Please read them carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

Pre-Orders & Waitlist

This is a first print run from a small independent publisher. Where the site is in pre-order or waitlist mode, quantities are limited, ship dates are our best estimate (not a guarantee), and pricing or availability may change before your order ships — we'll always honor the price you were actually charged at checkout.

Orders & Payment

Orders are processed through Stripe and/or PayPal. We never see or store your full card number — those details go directly to our payment processor. All prices are shown in your selected currency (USD, CAD, or GBP) before you complete checkout.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order — for example, if a product listing had a pricing error, if we suspect fraud, if we're out of stock, if we're unable to safely deliver to your address, or due to circumstances outside our control such as international shipping or supply chain disruptions — in which case we'll refund you in full and let you know by email and/or on Instagram. See our Refund Policy for more detail.

Order Acceptance

When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. A binding contract is formed only when we confirm your order by email. Payment being taken or processed does not by itself mean we have accepted your order.

Because of this, you will normally receive two emails from us: first a payment receipt confirming that your payment arrived, and then — once we've verified it — a separate order confirmation with your full order details. The second email is the one that confirms your order.

If we don't accept your order, or if the payment we receive doesn't match the amount due, we will not ship the order and we will refund you in full. We never keep payment for an order we don't fulfil.

Shipping & Delivery

See our Shipping Policy for carrier, cost, and timing details by country. Delivery estimates are not guarantees — carriers, customs, and international transit can add delays outside our control.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

See our Refund Policy for the full, current terms on cancellations, damaged/defective items, and lost packages.

Reviews & User Content

If you submit a review, you're confirming it's your genuine experience and that you have the right to share it. We reserve the right not to publish (or to remove) any review that's abusive, fake, off-topic, or violates someone's privacy. Approved reviews may be displayed publicly on this site.

Intellectual Property

The AaoSeekheinUrdu name, logo, book content, illustrations, and website content are owned by us (or used under license) and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.

Limitation of Liability

We're a small, independent business. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to your order or use of this site — including our inability to fulfill your order for any reason (stock-outs, delivery difficulties, international shipping or supply chain disruption, or other circumstances outside our control) — is limited to the amount you paid us for that order. We're not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from delivery delays, product defects beyond our replacement/refund remedy, or events outside our reasonable control.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the business grows — the "Last updated" date above will always reflect the latest version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
